No. Not on any service we offer. Ground transport is in the cabin of a climate-controlled vehicle with a handler; flight transport is in the aircraft cabin on a nanny's lap. If a route can only be served by cargo, we tell you it is not a route we cover.
For interstate travel within the US, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection — a health certificate — from a licensed vet in the state the animal is leaving, usually issued within ten days of travel. Some states add requirements. We tell you exactly what is needed for your specific route when we quote, and we chase it if it is running late.
Distance and breed, mostly. Under about 1,500 miles ground is usually kinder and cheaper. Beyond that, a day and a half in a vehicle is harder on an animal than four hours in a cabin. Flat-faced breeds have airline restrictions that sometimes decide it for us.
The handler stops. We identify a 24-hour veterinary clinic near every overnight point before the journey begins, and the handler carries the animal's records. You are called immediately — not after the fact. Veterinary costs incurred en route are billed at cost with the receipt attached.
Yes. Every booking gets a tracking code by email as soon as it is confirmed. The page shows the stage, the current status, checkpoints, expected arrival and the photos your handler adds along the way. You do not need an account or a password.
Two to three weeks for a domestic route gives us the best chance of the date you want. We do take short-notice bookings when a handler is already routing nearby — worth asking. International needs four to sixteen weeks depending on the destination.
The transport itself, fuel, the handler's time, crate use, water and food en route, photo updates and tracking. Quoted overnight stays are included when the route requires them. Veterinary costs and any government fees are extra and always shown before you commit.
Cats regularly, and small animals case by case. We do not transport livestock, reptiles or birds — those need specialist handling we do not pretend to have.
Yes, and we will send you the certificate before you book rather than after you ask. Cargo and liability cover, plus the handler's commercial vehicle policy.
More than seven days before collection, a full refund less a small admin fee. Inside seven days we retain the deposit, because the date has been held and a handler assigned. If we cancel for any reason, you are refunded in full, immediately.
