Long ground routes sometimes need a night's rest, and sometimes a buyer's flight lands a day after the pet does. Rather than push through or hand the animal to a boarding kennel, we keep them with a handler in a home.

- Feeding schedule maintainedSame food, same times as the transport plan. Consistency matters more than comfort at this stage.

- Vet on callWe identify a 24-hour clinic near every overnight stop before the journey starts. It has been needed twice in nine years; both times it mattered.
